It’s safe to say that Marvel fans are still outraged by the cancellation of Luke Cage. So much so that a new petition has popped up on Change.org calling for its revival. The petition boldly states “Luke Cage is the finest Marvel show in existence. It exemplifies herorics, sassy banter, great music, and family fun. The cancellation of this beloved show is utterly flabbergasting. It’s been reported that Star Wars actor Ewan McGregor has boarded Cathy Yan’s Birds of Prey. The Wrap is exclusively reporting that McGregor will be taking on the role of Black Mask. Over the summer the actor had been strongly rumoured to be Warner Bros. favourite to take the role. Black Mask made his first appearance in the pages of Batman #386in 1985. Martin has seemingly revealed the title of his Game of Thrones prequel. Martin was tweeting out the news we brought you yesterday that Naomi Watts will take the lead role in the series. Buried in the text of his tweet were the words “Casting is now underway for THE LONG NIGHT…”. Could this be the title of the new series? The cast of Warner Bros. new Pennyworth series continues to grow. X-Men: First Class star Jason Flemyn has joined that cast in a new role.
