A few new DC Films developments have hit the headlines today. Firstly the rumoured Birds of Prey film appears to have hit the fast track. Warner Bros. is said to have offered a deal to up-and-coming director Cathy Yan to helm the picture. Deadline reports that Yan was offered the film after that the studio has made it a priority over of Margot Robbie vehicles. Veteran Star Trek actor and director Jonathan Frakes has confirmed something we have long suspected. That Spock will be appearing in the second season of Star Trek: Discovery. Whilst appearing at a recent convention the star of Star Trek: The Next Generation let slip he is directing the second and tenth episodes of the upcoming season. That second episode will feature the recently confirmed Anson Mount (Marvel’s Inhumans) as Captain Pike.
