Marvel has confirmed that the second trailer for Captain Marvel will debut during Monday Night Football. For us here in the UK that means the trailer will debut around 05:00-07:00GMT tomorrow. To whet our appetites for the trailer the studio has released this fiery new poster for the movie. Featuring another awesome look at Brie Larson in costume the poster also confirms that Annette Bening will be appearing in the movie. Marvel has released a statement on Netflix’s cancellation of Daredevil. The studio has been widely criticised by fans for not acting quickly to secure the future of the series. Many are speculating on potential big screen adaptions or even for the series to move internally to Disney owned network ABC. Brec Bassinger has found herself in good company. DC Universe’s upcoming Stargirl series has added two new series regulars to its cast. Deadline is reporting Bassinger will be joined by Yvette Monreal (Faking It) and Christopher James Baker (True Detective). At this stage both are said to be playing “undisclosed DC characters.” So take that as you will. Stargirl is expected to start production soon for a 2019 premiere on the streaming service. With December right around the corner plenty of websites are taking a look at Aquaman’s potential opening weekend box office. There’s a general consensus amongst the major players that DC Films latest offering is tracking for an opening weekend in the region of $65M. Aquaman will open for the 5-day holiday weekend which leads in to Christmas day. Over that period the movie is tracking for around $100M.
