Some excellent news from Screen Rant today who are reporting that Netflix has renewed The Umbrella Academy for a second season. The site is reporting that the cast and crew are gearing up to begin production on the second season in May. It is said that the shooting schedule will take the show through September so at present we expect a late 2019/early 2020 release.
