After several short looks and featurettes, HBO has released a new full trailer for Watchmen. The series, which premieres on October 20 at 21:00 ET, boats an all-star cast and looks set to push the applauded comic book storyline to new highs. Whilst much of the storyline is still under wraps this trailer does, at least, give us a better understanding of what to expect when the nine-episode first season debuts. Last week Mission Impossible 7 director Chris McQuarrie announced that Marvel actress Hayley Atwell was joining the cast. Now Atwell has also confirmed her involvement and unveiled that her character will also be appearing in the previously announced eighth instalment in the franchise. Atwell will be joining the cast in an unknown role but is expected to take on the role of one of the female leads. If, like us, you grew up in the 90’s you’ll remember the hit Nickelodeon series Are You Afraid of the Dark?. The anthology series see’s a group of teens, dubbed The Midnight Society, meet around a campfire to tell scary stories.
