In my life, and I’m sure in everyone’s life, there are things that I never thought I would witness… ever. Sir Ian McKellen lobbing oranges into a crowd was probably at the top of the list, fortunately for me, I was able to witness just that. I will provide no context. I was fortunate enough to spend the evening in the company of the legendary actor, Sir Ian McKellen, who has been touring the United Kingdom celebrating his 80th birthday. McKellen has been performing his one-man show in over 80 different venues that he has a connection with. What’s interesting…

Last night San Diego Comic Con was not short on huge announcements. Joining the already impressive roster of Phase 4 movies from Marvel Studios is Shang-Chi and The Legends of The Ten Rings.
One of Marvel’s more interesting announcements during its Hall H panel at last night’s San Diego Comic Con is the What If…? animated series.
Along with all of the other announcements made last night, Hall H also announced that the live-action Loki series will be coming to Disney+ in Spring 2021.
A Doctor Strange sequel is officially happening and it will be one of the later installments in Phase 4.
Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan were on hand last night for the Marvel Studios panel in Hall H at San Diego Comic Con.
Jeremy Renner is set to return as Hawkeye in Disney+’s new series. However, Hawkeye won’t be alone in this series. He’ll be working alongside Kate Bishop, who hasn’t been casted yet. For those who are unfamiliar, Kate Bishop is the character that becomes the new Hawkeye.
Hall H was electric on Saturday. Head of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, took to the panel to introduce many of the new films and shows coming in 2020 and 2021.
One of the biggest announcements from San Diego Comic-Con, I would argue, came when Taika Waititi announced that he would be returning to direct a fourth Thor film, which is unheard of in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Both Iron Man and Captain America received trilogies but with Thor’s fate left open after Avengers: Endgame, it does make sense to continue his story.
San Diego Comic-Con was a wild one for fans this year. We got a lot of surprising announcements and I don’t think many people anticipated a new version of Blade.
