Pop Vinyls and Pokémon have a lot in common. They can be small and sometimes big, there are hundreds of them and, most importantly, the aim is to catch ’em all.
Considering the immense popularity of the vast and wondrous Pokémon, Funko have only released a few Pops of our favourite creatures. Pikachu, Squirtle, Bulbasaur and Charmander.
Well, Pokémon trainers, that changes today. Funko have expanded their very own pokedex with upcoming Pop Vinyls of more Pokémon.
We have Vulpix, Mr. Mime, Pichu and Mewtwo!
I personally would have hoped for other Pokémon rather than Mr. Mime and Pichu. However, this small expansion means there is potential for more and more. Perhaps a Charizard, a massive Snorlax or even one of the Eeveelutions? Or maybe all of them. I can picture it now.
I am over the moon that Mewtwo is getting his own Pop. He is one of my all time favourite Pokémon- can you imagine a little Mew next to him? Please make it happen Funko.
These brand new Pops can be preordered now. Also, lets wish our favourite genetically modified friend, Mewtwo, a happy birthday.
