I’m on a Star Wars high. I’ve got new books, comics, documentaries and the promise of brand new shows. But now fans can look forward to a brand new Star Wars game that primarily focuses on mastering the art of starfighter combat. Welcome to Star Wars: Squadrons.

McFarlane Toys has revealed their new additions to its DC Multiverse line and we will finally be seeing the epic characters from Scott Snyder’s Dark Nights: Metal.
I absolutely love some Kaiju magic. Seeing Godzilla: King of the Monsters, despite its flaws, was a treat. Witnessing the might of Ghidorah, Mothra and Rodan on the big screen was an incredibly memorable experience. The next big installment in the MonsterVerse is Godzilla vs Kong. However, it seems we have even more waiting to do now.
Some may argue that the superhero genre is oversaturated. With the various Marvel films and shows in production, the different DC titles, and other shows like The Boys and Umbrella Academy, it’s hard not to agree. However, My Hero Academia has glided through the ranks not only as a fantastic anime show but a worthy addition to the superhero genre.
The great thing about anime in general is the variety. Of course you get very similar story lines that correlate with the genre- Isekai’s for example. But there is a lot out there and it is certainly exciting when you find a show that exceeds your expectation. For me, that was Re:Zero.
During my ‘anime-infancy’ I played it safe by watching a lot of shows that I knew I would enjoy. That meant sticking to a very familiar genre that would typically ensure some form of enjoyment. For me, that genre was action and adventure. You can never go wrong with those.
The Last of Us Part II is almost upon us with just 9 days until its release. As fans gear up for the release, we were treated with an extended trailer.
The wait for Mandalorian season 2 is both agonizing and exciting. On one level I desire to see The Child once again and on another I long for that return to the world of Star Wars.
Welcome back to another anime recommendation. I’m having a lot of fun doing these. However, revisiting some of my favourite shows has increased my desire to rewatch them… and there are only so many hours in a day. This one is a big one. When you discuss anime with someone I’m willing to bet that Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood works its way into the conversation.
The highly anticipated PlayStation 5 event was originally set for 4th June. However, due to the Coronavirus it was rightly postponed. A new date for the event has now been announced and we can hardly wait.
