TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES SDCC Exclusives

Here’s the thing. I love the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. However, I was born in the late 90’s so it was really something I had to discover as I grew up. Like with most popular franchises, there were more shows, games, books and toys to play with so I definitely missed out on certain things.
NECA recently revealed a new set of figures featuring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for this year’s virtual San Diego Comic-Con. Ladies and Gentlemen, I present… The Musical Mutagen Tour 4 Pack.

One thing that seems to have been a popular during the 80’s were live shows featuring classic characters. This is completely new to me. My eyes have been opened wide and I just can’t believe it.
If someone had told me that I could listen to Splinter singing “Skipping Stones” I would have called you mad. It is genuinely the best thing I have seen in ages.
Now, people who grew up with such magic can recreate their own Turtle tour at home with this bizarre yet wonderful figure set. All four Turtles come dressed in real fabric and their band apparel. They also come with a range of accessories including a saxophone, keyboard, guitar, and a one string bass. There will be accessories, like masks, a pizza, and 4 sets of interchangeable hands.
Check them out in action

Look how amazing they look! Look at their little shoes. The big set comes with a really cool box that unfolds to create a stage ready for the Turtles to rock out on.
This special set that celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trading their weapons for instruments will be available on July 23rd. It has a retail price of $124.99 and will be available at Target. For oversea fans, the set can be purchased via NECA’s official store.
