February Films and Story Robot have debuted the teaser trailer for Abner Pastoll’s upcoming psychological horror Nervous. The film is set to hold its world premiere on August 27 as part of the 2026 Tubi FrightFest before continuing a festival run throughout summer.
Sarah (Sarah Bolger) and her husband Sungsoo (Sungsoo Yune) move to a house in the Korean countryside in the hope of saving their crumbling marriage. But their new home hides a strange secret – an unmarked vinyl record that plays nothing but silence. After listening to it, Sarah slowly begins to lose the ability to hear men’s voices, and her grip on reality starts to fracture. She becomes isolated from her husband as she is drawn to their enigmatic neighbour, Eunbyeol (Ko Asung), whose raw, erotic presence unsettles and entices her.

As Sarah’s obsession with the vinyl deepens, paranoia, hallucinations, and dangerous desires spiral out of control. With her mind unravelling, she must confront whether the horrors consuming her are psychological, or something far more sinister.
Pastoll reunites with A Good Woman is Hard to Find star Sarah Bolger for Nervous, which also stars Ko Asung, known internationally for her roles in Bong Joon Ho classics The Host and Snowpiercer, and Sungsoo Yune (Smugglers, Live Stream). Nervous is written and directed by Abner Pastoll (A Good Woman is Hard to Find, Road Games), produced by Junyoung Jang (A Good Woman is Hard to Find, Road Games) and Abner Pastoll, co-written by Richard Hobley and with a new original score from Matthew Pusti (A Good Woman Is Hard to Find, Onslaught).
Following the world premiere at FrightFest, Nervous will continue its festival run with screenings at Lisbon’s MOTELX on 4 September and Germany’s Fantasy Filmfest on 7 September.
Nervous was shot entirely on location in and around Seoul, and is a Korean-UK co-production from February Films and Story Robot.
