Written and directed by Christopher Nolan, The Odyssey brings Homer’s ancient Greek saga to IMAX cinema screens for the very first time. The huge production was shot across various locations worldwide, capturing the mythic elements of the classic epic poem not previously seen.
Nolan has assembled an elite, star-studded ensemble cast to bring the ancient heroes and gods to life, including Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Zendaya and Charlize Theron.

The newly released featurette shows the intense physical demands of the shoot and focuses on Nolan’s continued commitment to practical filmmaking on 65mm film. The Odyssey is being produced by Emma Thomas and Christopher Nolan through their production company, Syncopy, with Thomas Hayslip serving as executive producer.
