Ghostface Strikes Again as SCREAM 7 Dethrones Avatar in the UK Official Film Chart

Scream 7 is straight in at Number 1 on this week’s Official Film Chart.

The seventh instalment in the horror franchise sees Ghostface return, with a brand-new group of friends becoming trapped in a deadly game of paranoia, revenge and hidden secrets. Returning survivors must confront their past while uncovering the killer’s identity before another massacre unfolds. Brimming with brutal twists and self-aware humour, Scream 7 brings nostalgia, suspense and fresh terror.

As its long-awaited sequel lands in cinemas, The Devil Wears Prada struts back into the Top 5, up three (5). In the original flick, aspiring journalist Andy Sachs lands a job working for terrifying fashion editor Miranda Priestly and quickly discovers the glamorous magazine world is brutal, exhausting and weirdly addictive. Between impossible demands, designer makeovers and career sacrifices, Andy must decide how much of herself she’s willing to lose for success.

Elsewhere this week, American animated sports comedy GOAT makes a slam dunk, jumping nine back into the Top 10 (6). In GOAT, small-town underdog Will Harris gets thrown into the wild world of professional sports, where bigger, faster rivals don’t exactly take him seriously. Packed with comedy, heart and plenty of chaotic competition, the movie follows one ambitious goat’s journey to prove that true greatness comes from determination, teamwork and self-belief.
