Paramount Pictures has confirmed the upcoming fourth entry in the Sonic franchise will indeed be called Sonic the Hedgehog 4. The studio has released a teaser today showing off the title and affirming the film’s planned March 2027 release in cinemas.
No synopsis for the film has been revealed as yet as the studio attempts to keep the plot tightly underwraps. But the cast list revealed alongside the teaser does confirm that Jim Carrey will return as the villainous Doctor Robotnik.
