Making an instant impact on release, Zootropolis 2 hops straight into the Number 1 position. Reuniting audiences with Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, the sequel expands the bustling mammal metropolis with new districts, new species and a fresh mystery that tests their partnership. Packed with sharp humour, inventive world-building and timely themes, the film marks a triumphant return to the beloved animated universe.

After an exceptional 34 weeks on the chart, Sinners eases into Number 2 following its long-awaited spell at the summit. The dark thriller stars Michael B. Jordan in a dual role as twin brothers seeking escape from their violent pasts, only to uncover a far greater evil waiting back home. Its slow-burn tension and moral complexity continue to resonate.

Climbing further into the upper ranks, One Battle After Another secures Number 3. The film follows Bob, a washed-up revolutionary who lives in a state of stoned paranoia, surviving off-grid with his spirited and self-reliant daughter, Willa.

Holding strong at Number 4, 28 Years Later continues its haunting exploration of a world shaped by long-term catastrophe. Set decades after the original outbreak, the film examines how society adapts, fractures and rebuilds under the weight of fear, legacy and hard-won survival.

Now positioned at Number 5, Wicked – For Good remains a major force. The musical sequel deepens the consequences of Elphaba and Glinda’s choices, pushing Oz toward political and emotional upheaval through darker themes, expanded mythology and powerful musical sequences.

Momentum builds again for Bugonia, rising to Number 6. Blending sci-fi, conspiracy thriller and dark humour, the film explores two conspiracy-obsessed men who kidnap the CEO of a major company when they become convinced that she’s an alien who wants to destroy Earth.

Settling into Number 7, Predator – Badlands continues its stripped-back survival tale. Set in a harsh, unforgiving environment, the film pits human endurance against the franchise’s iconic hunter, delivering relentless tension and visceral action.

Remaining firmly in play at Number 8, Dracula sustains its gothic atmosphere. This modern retelling leans into psychological horror and tragic romance, examining obsession, immortality and isolation through moody visuals and slow-building dread.

A notable climber places Downton Abbey – The Grand Finale at Number 9. The elegant farewell to the Crawley family delivers emotional resolutions, refined period drama and a sense of closure that honours the legacy of the long-running series.

Rounding out the Top 10, The Running Man continues its chart presence. Set in a near-future society obsessed with spectacle, the dystopian thriller follows a man forced into a deadly televised contest, where survival depends on strategy, endurance and rebellion against a ruthless system.
