ReedPop has announced today that the cast of hit Dungeons & Dragons actual play series Critical Role will attend MCM Comic Con in October 2026. They will be appearing on Friday 24th and Saturday 26th October 2026 as the convention returns to Excel London.
Launched in 2015, Critical Role is a hit web series featuring a group of professional voice actors playing Dungeons & Dragons together. The show started streaming partway through the cast’s first campaign and is currently in its fourth campaign. Critical Role quickly became the world’s most popular Dungeons & Dragons series, spawning two animated TV shows on Amazon as well as comic books and official collaborations with Wizards of the Coast.
The attending cast members include:
- Matthew Mercer is a voice actor, game designer and singer, and has been a voice-over artist in video games and animation since 2002. He has developed and served as the Dungeon Master for Critical Role since it premiered in 2015. Alongside this, he is best known for his animation roles as Levi Ackerman in Attack on Titan, Jotaro Kuji in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and Yamato in Naruto. Additionally, he will also be recognised from his video game credits, including Leon S. Kennedy in Resident Evil 6, Yusuke Kitagawa in Persona 5 and Goro Majima in Like a Dragon.
- Laura Bailey is a voice actress who portrays Vex’ahlia, Jester Lavorre, Imogen Temult and Thimble on Critical Role. In addition to this, she has had an extensive voice acting career across video games and animation, including Tohru Honda in Fruits Basket, Lust in Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Rise Kujiwara in Persona 4, Chun-Li in Street Fighter and Lucina in Fire Emblem Awakening.
- Ashley Johnson appears as Pike Trickfood, Yasha Nydoorin, Fearne Calloway and Vaelus in Critical Role. She provided the voice and motion capture of Ellie in The Last of Us series, in addition to voicing Terra on Teen Titans, Gwen Tennyson in the Ben 10 franchise and Shiseru in Naruto: Shippuden. She has won two BAFTA Game Awards for Performer, both for portraying Ellie in The Last of Us and The Last of Us: Left Behind.
- Liam O’Brien is a voice actor, writer and director, who plays Vax’ildan, Caleb Widogast, Orym and Halandil Fang in Critical Role. His major voice acting roles include Gaara in Naruto, Naruto Shippuden and Boruto, VIncent Law in Ergo Proxy, Akihiko Sanada in Persona 4 and Lloyd in Code Geass.
- Travis Willingham portrays Grog Strongjae, Fjord, Bertrand Bell, Chetney Pock O’Pea and Teor Pridesire in Critical Role. His notable roles include Guile in the Street FIghter franchise, Knuckles the Echidna in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise and Thor in various Marvel games. In addition to this, Travis voiced Roy Mustang in the Fullmetal Alchemist franchise, Ginko in Mushishi, and Portgas D. Ace in One Piece.
- Taliesin Jaffe plays Percival de Rolo, Mollymauk Tealeaf, Caduceus Clay, Kingsley Tealeaf, Ashton Greymoore and Bolaire Lathalia in Critical Role. Jaffe also regularly plays The Flash in video games.
- Marisha Ray is a voice actress, best known for portraying characters Keyleth, Beauregard, Laudna and Murray on Critical Role. Her voice acting credits include Margaret in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax and Persona Q and Effie in Fire Emblem Heroes.
- Sam Riegel is the voice of Scanlan Shorthalt, Taryon Darrington, Veth Brenatto, Fresh Cut Grass, Braius Doomseed and Wicander Halovar in Critical Role. He is best known for his roles as Donatello in the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, Phoenix Wright in the Ace Attorney games, and Teddie from Persona 4.
The Critical Role cast will be available for photo ops and autographs for Friday and Saturday of MCM Comic Con October. Attendees can look out for more details of their activities at MCM coming soon.
MCM Comic Con will return to London in May with fantasy author Brandon Sanderson and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman announced as the May show’s first guests. Tickets for MCM Comic Con October will go on sale after the May event.
