Back in February it was announced that classic British TV series Thunderbirds would be receiving a Blu-ray and 4K release. Tonight, Anderson Entertainment has released a new video updating on their progress in completing work on the show.
The new video confirms the release, originally set for late 2025, has been pushed to a confirmed date of February 16, 2026. But it’s hard to argue with the delay after witnessing the incredible job the team has done in lovingly bringing the much-loved show in to the 21st century.

A key highlight is the high-definition release of Thunderbirds on Blu-ray in its original 4:3 format, something Anderson fans have been eagerly anticipating for over a decade. This special edition presents Thunderbirds in pristine high definition in its original format for the first time in the UK. The release includes an array of brand-new special features, including the three special Anniversary Episodes, produced in 2015, which have never previously been released on physical media. Also included will be exclusive extra content including interviews with the creators, and insights into the production techniques that made it a ground-breaking landmark in television history. This special edition allows viewers to relive the thrilling adventures of International Rescue as they have never been presented before.
