Anderson Entertainment, the company founded by the legendary Gerry Anderson, has today announced special edition releases for three of the company’s iconic series. Space: 1999, Captain Scarlet and all-time favourite Thunderbirds will release on limited-edition Blu-ray and 4K versions later in the year.
As the company and fans celebrate 60 years of Gerry & Sylvia Anderson’s classic Thunderbirds, a legacy of creativity and innovation in television comes alive once more. Thanks to an exciting expansion of its licensing agreement with ITV Studios, Anderson Entertainment is now able to invite both long-time enthusiasts and new viewers to join in the celebrations with these highly anticipated special limited-edition releases.

A key highlight is the high-definition release of Thunderbirds on Blu-ray in its original 4:3 format, something Anderson fans have been eagerly anticipating for over a decade. This special edition presents Thunderbirds in pristine high definition in its original format for the first time in the UK. The release includes an array of brand-new special features, including the three special Anniversary Episodes, produced in 2015, which have never previously been released on physical media. Also included will be exclusive extra content including interviews with the creators, and insights into the production techniques that made it a ground-breaking landmark in television history. This special edition allows viewers to relive the thrilling adventures of International Rescue as they have never been presented before.
