After another hugely successful year in London and Birmingham, MCM Comic Con, the UK’s biggest pop-culture event, is set to return in 2026 with even more unforgettable experiences. Organisers ReedPop have now announced the dates for 2026’s huge shows:
- 22 – 24 May 2026 at ExCel London
- 7 – 9 August 2026 at NEC Birmingham
- 23 – 25 October 2026 at ExCel London
For the first time, MCM Birmingham Comic Con is moving from its usual November slot to brand-new summer dates in August 2026.
The move not only brings the Midlands’ biggest pop-culture celebration into the sunshine but also opens NEC’s doors to some outdoor fun for attendees and a vibrant weekend for fans across the region.
MCM London Comic Con meanwhile returns in 2026 with its much-loved May and October shows. Tickets for May 2026 are already on sale and can be purchased here.
MCM Comic Con events in 2025 saw some incredible moments across all three shows. In May, tens of thousands gathered for a packed schedule of geeky activities and panels with the likes of Doctor Who icon David Tennant, Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Stepahnie Beatriz, and the legendary Patton Oswalt.
In October, fans were treated to panels and signings with a host of talent from the worlds of film, TV and video games, including the casts of The Boys, Predator Badlands, God of War.
Then in Birmingham this past weekend, fans gathered in droves to see Hollywood star James McAvoy, Stranger Things baddie Jamie Campbell Bower and four iconic Doctor Who actors in Sylvester McCoy, Colin Baker, Paul McGann and Peter Davison.
In 2026, attendees will be able explore all the MCM Comic Con features attendees have come to love, from The Treehouse, Artist Alley and Writers Block, to the Forest Glade, Tabletop Zone, Cosplay Central and Pop Asia, as well as yet more panels, and photo and autograph opportunities.
As well as these features, gamers will also be able to enjoy even more games industry content in 2026, such as the PC LAN Freeplay Zone and Leftfield Collection, an incredible array of exhibitors and AAA and independent developers and guests from the world of video games.
