Another huge night for DC Studios and The Penguin at last night’s Emmy Awards. Cristin Milioti, aka Sofia Falcone, is celebrating this morning after walking away with the prestigious Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series award for her role in The Batman spin-off.

The win for Milioti caps an incredible awards season for the series which has now picked up 9 Emmy awards including those for make-up, costume, visual effects and for its score from Mick Giacchino. But whilst Milioti picked up her award the series lead, Colin Farrell walked away empty handed. He lost out on the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series to Stephen Graham who won for breakaway Netflix hit Adolescence.

Adolescence was one of the biggest winners on the night, with Owen Cooper – who was only 14 at the time of production on the series – became the youngest ever winner at the awards. He picked up the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series award.
