This week Sony Pictures releases one of the summer’s creepiest horrors, Bring Her Back, on digital platforms in the UK. Directed with claustrophobic intensity by Danny and Michael Philippou (Talk To Me), the film arrives on digital to buy or rent from September 10, 2025.

The film sees teenage siblings Andy (Billy Barratt) and his younger, vision-impaired sister Piper (Sora Wong) fall into the care of Laura (Sally Hawkins), a deceptively gentle foster mother haunted by the grief of a traumatic experience. Newly orphaned and desperate to remain together, Andy and Piper find sanctuary in Laura’s home… until subtle cracks begin to reveal an unnerving truth: Laura’s love may not be what it seems. With whispering rituals, haunting VHS footage, and an unsettling silent foster child named Oliver (Jonah Wren Phillips) also living in the house, maternal warmth curdles into something sinister.

In case you missed it at the cinema, check out the official trailer in the player below:

Bring Her Back is written by Danny Philippou and Bill Hinzman. It’s directed by Danny Philippou and Michael Philippou (Talk To Me) and stars Sally Hawkins (Blue Jasmine, The Shape of Water), Sora Wong (in her acting debut), Billy Barratt (Kraven the Hunter, Invasion), Jonah Wren Phillips (How to Make Gravy, Human Error), Stephen Phillips (Winners & Losers, Neighbours) and Sally-Anne Upton (Wentworth,Neighbours). It’s produced by Kristina Ceyton and Samantha Jennings.

Bring Her Back is available to Buy or Rent on Digital from 10th September, courtesy of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
