This week Sony Pictures releases one of the summer’s creepiest horrors, Bring Her Back, on digital platforms in the UK. Directed with claustrophobic intensity by Danny and Michael Philippou (Talk To Me), the film arrives on digital to buy or rent from September 10, 2025.
The film sees teenage siblings Andy (Billy Barratt) and his younger, vision-impaired sister Piper (Sora Wong) fall into the care of Laura (Sally Hawkins), a deceptively gentle foster mother haunted by the grief of a traumatic experience. Newly orphaned and desperate to remain together, Andy and Piper find sanctuary in Laura’s home… until subtle cracks begin to reveal an unnerving truth: Laura’s love may not be what it seems. With whispering rituals, haunting VHS footage, and an unsettling silent foster child named Oliver (Jonah Wren Phillips) also living in the house, maternal warmth curdles into something sinister.
