The wait is nearly over! Crunchyroll has announced that from August 15, fans in the UK will be able to purchase cinema tickets for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle. The highly anticipated film is the first in a trilogy that will cover the dramatic conclusion of the smash-hit series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Distributed by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment the film will come to UK cinemas including IMAX® and premium large formats on September 12, 2025.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle opened in Japan last weekend, breaking three Japanese box office records: highest earning opening weekend, highest earning first day, and highest earning single day. The film, distributed by Toho and Aniplex, generated 7.31 billion yen (£36.7 million) in box office revenue in the first four days of release.

Watch a brand new trailer for the film in the player below:

Tanjiro Kamado, driven by the brutal killing of his family by a demon, joined an organization dedicated to hunting them down, the Demon Slayer Corps. He must balance his thirst for revenge with his need to protect his sister, who was turned into a demon in the same attack that slew his family.

Alongside his comrades and fellow corps members Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira, Tanjiro has proved his strength time and time again as he is pitted against the demons that plague his world.

His journey has found him fighting alongside the Demon Slayer Corps’ highest-ranking swordsmen, the Hashira, including Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengolu aboard the Mugen Train, Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui within the Entertainment District, as well as Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji at the Swordsmith Village.

In preparation for the final confrontation with the ruler of the demons Muza Kibutsuji, the Demon Slayer Corps embark upon a strict training regime known as the Hashira Training. When Muza Kibutsuji appears at the Demon Slayer headquarters at the Ubuyashiki Mansion, Tanjiro and the Hashira waste no time in confronting their foe, only to spring the trap that the demon has laid.

Plunged deep into the demons’ stronghold, the Infinity Castle, Tanjiro and the Demon Slayer Corps must now fight for their lives across a mind-bending labyrinth filled with powerful enemies and hidden dangers.

The stage is set as the final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons ignites.

At San Diego Comic-Con last weekend, Crunchyrol also unveiled a brand new poster for the film:

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll. Four albums from the series and four orchestral concerts are currently available on global music streaming platforms.
