Netflix has used its Tudum events over the weekend to give fans a first look at legendary director Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming Frankenstein. The film, a childhood dream of del Toro’s to produce, has finally been confirmed for a global release via the streamer in November 2025.
Oscar-winning director del Toro (Pinocchio, Cabinet of Curiosities, The Shape of Water) adapts Mary Shelley’s classic tale of Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant but egotistical scientist who brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation.
