After dropping a brand new poster just yesterday, Max and DC Studios has now revealed the official teaser trailer for the second season of Peacemaker. The series will return to Max in the US on August 21, 2025.
Expanding on the tease we saw earlier this week, the full trailer pits the 11th Street Gang and Peacemaker (John Cena) against Rick Flag Snr. (Frank Grillo). Flag is out for revenge following the death of his son at the hands of Peacemaker during the events of The Suicide Squad film which now become cannon to the new DCU.

Peacemaker stars John Cena, Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, Steve Agee, and Robert Patrick return for season two. New cast members include Frank Grillo, David Denman, Sol Rodriguez, and Tim Meadows.
James Gunn wrote all eight episodes of season two and directed three, including the first episode. Gunn, Peter Safran, and John Cena serve as executive producers. Greg Mottola, Peter Sollett, and Althea Jones also direct. Based on characters from DC, Peacemaker is produced by Gunn’s Troll Court Entertainment and The Safran Company in association with Warner Bros. Television.
