Max and DC Studios have revealed the first poster artwork for the upcoming second season of Peacemaker. The studios have also revealed that the first teaser for the series, which returns to Max in the US on August 21, will debut online tomorrow (May 9).
The poster features John Cena suited up in an emotional embrace with his old pal Eagly. Check it out in full below. Eagly was by far a runaway fan-favourite character in the first season and teaser footage released so-far has teased a huge return for the ensemble cast.
Peacemaker stars John Cena, Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Jennifer Holland, Chukwudi Iwuji, Steve Agee, Robert Patrick, Annie Chang, Lochlyn Munro, Nhut Le, Christopher Heyerdahl, Mel Tuck, Rizwan Manji, Elizabeth Faith Ludlow and Dee Bradley Baker (the voice of Eagly).
James Gunn, Peter Safran and Matt Miller serve as executive producers on the series, with Cena as co-executive producer. Based on characters from DC, Peacemaker is produced by Gunn’s Troll Court Entertainment and The Safran Company in association with Warner Bros. Television.
