Yesterday Netflix confirmed that a first look teaser was on its way for the second season Wednesday. Now the streamer has revealed the video in full alongside new stills and confirmation of when the series will return to our screens.
Wednesday season 2 will launch in two parts with the first batch of episodes arriving on August 6, 2025. The remaining episodes will then stream around a month later, beginning September 3, 2025.

Joining in the second season as new series regulars are Steve Buscemi (The Big Lebowski, Boardwalk Empire), Billie Piper (Scoop, I Hate Suzie), Evie Templeton (Return to Silent Hill, Lord of Misrule), Owen Painter (Tiny Beautiful Things, The Handmaid’s Tale) and Noah Taylor (Law & Order: Organized Crime, Park Avenue).
Additionally Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo have all been upped to series regular status. New guest stars for the second season include Christopher Lloyd (Addams Family, Back to the Future), Joanna Lumley (Fool Me Once, Absolutely Fabulous), Thandiwe Newton (Westworld, Crash), Frances O’Connor (The Missing, The Twelve), Haley Joel Osment (The Kominsky Method, Somebody I Used to Know), Heather Matarazzo (The Princess Diaries, Scream) and Joonas Suotamo.

The series spent 20 weeks on the Global Top 10 and reached the Top 10 in 93 countries. The series is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy.
