    Warner Bros. Announces UK Home Video Release of Bong Joon Ho’s MICKEY 17

    This week Warner Bros. Pictures has announced the UK home video release for Academy Award-winning filmmaker Bong Joon Ho’s Mickey 17. The film, led by Robert Pattinson and Naomi Ackie, will release on digital platforms next week before arriving on disc in May 2025.

    In our three-star review of the film Matt says “while it doesn’t quite reach its peak potential, it certainly provides an absolutely entertaining experience. With a standout multi-performance from Robert Pattinson, Mickey 17 is a fantastic watch.”

    From Academy Award-Winning Filmmaker Bong Joon Ho, the Mind-Bending Sci-Fi Thriller Arrives for Premium Digital Ownership and Rental on April 7th

    4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD arrive May 26th

    From the Academy Award-winning writer/director of “Parasite,” Bong Joon Ho, comes his next groundbreaking cinematic experience, “Mickey 17.” The film arrives for purchase and rental Digitally at home on April 7th. “Mickey 17” will also be available to purchase on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD on May 26th.

    Written and directed by Bong Joon Ho, “Mickey 17” stars Robert Pattinson (“The Batman,” “Tenet”), Naomi Ackie (“Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker”), Steven Yeun (“Nope”), with Academy Award nominees Toni Collette (“Hereditary”), and Mark Ruffalo (“Poor Things”).

    The film is produced by Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner (Oscar winners for “Moonlight” and “12 Years a Slave”), Bong Joon Ho and Dooho Choi (“Okja,” “Snowpiercer”). It is based on the novel Mickey 7 by Edward Ashton. The executive producers are Brad Pitt, Jesse Ehrman, Peter Dodd and Marianne Jenkins.

    ·         On April 7th, “Mickey 17” will be available for early Premium Digital Ownership at home and for 48-hour rental via PVOD on participating digital platforms where you purchase movies. 

    ·         On May 26th, “Mickey 17” will be available to own on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD. “Mickey 17” will also continue to be available to own in high definition and standard definition from participating digital retailers.
