This week Tate Brombal’s outstanding Batgirl series returns to comic book stores with its fourth issue. Ahead of its debut on Wednesday, DC Comics has revealed a full preview of the issue including the cover art and interior preview pages.
Let’s take a look at the synopsis for issue #4 before we even think about looking at the covers and preview pages:
As Batgirl grapples with the unlikely allies Lady Shiva has assembled to combat the Unburied, a surprise attack derails their burgeoning plans. Suddenly, it’s all-out war with Cassandra Cain caught in the middle of the deadliest hands in the DC Universe! Will she stand and fight alongside the enemies of her enemy? Or will she take them all on herself?
Before we take a look at those preview pages let’s take a look at the cover artwork for Batgirl #4. Once again this month, the series features a brilliant main cover from artist David Talaski as well as a variant cover from Sozomaika:
DC has also released four fully-lettered preview pages from issue #4 which you can read to your heart’s content below. Beware though. There is now a spoiler warning in full effect for those yet to read issue #3 which released back in January.
Batgirl #4 will be available in comic book stores and on digital platforms Wednesday (5/2). It is available for pre-order at your local comic shop. Digital copies can be purchased from content providers, including Kindle, iBooks, and Google Play.
