Can you believe the end of The Penguin is upon us. The series finale, “Great or Little Thing” will debut in the US on Sunday night before making its UK premiere on Sky TV and NOW on Monday To celebrate the finale we’re taking look at the synopsis and stills to try and decipher where the story might be going next.
“Great or Little Thing” is written by showrunner Lauren LeFranc and directed by Jennifer Getzinger[. Before we dive in to those stills, here’s a look at the official synopsis: Truths are revealed as Oz and Sofia’s power struggle comes to a head.

The series stars Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb (aka Penguin), Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone, Deirdre O’Connell as Frances Cobb and Rhenzy Feliz as Victor Aguilar. Also starring are Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Clancy Brown, James Madio, Scott Cohen, Michael Zegen, Carmen Ejogo and Theo Rossi.
The series is executive produced by Matt Reeves, Dylan Clark, Colin Farrell, Lauren LeFranc, who writes and serves as showrunner, Craig Zobel, who directs the first three episodes, and Bill Carraro. Based on characters created for DC by Bob Kane with Bill Finger, THE PENGUIN is produced by Reeves’ 6th & Idaho Productions and Dylan Clark Productions in association with Warner Bros Television, where Reeves and 6th & Idaho are under an overall deal, and DC Studios. Daniel Pipski also serves as executive producer.
