INSIDE OUT 2 Completes a Month in the Top Slot of the UK Official Film Chart

Time to check out this week’s UK Official Film Chart as Disney’s Inside Out 2 rounds out a full month in the top spot.

Gliding into its fourth consecutive week at Number 1, Inside Out 2 outsells its closest competition Twisters (2) and Despicable Me 4 (3) which hold on to their placements from last week; all three managing their Top 3 placements on digital downloads only.

Bad Boys: Ride or Die rises one to a new peak of Number 4, with the Will Smith and Martin Lawrence action comedy finishing just ahead of a re-entry from period crime drama film The Bikeriders which shoots back to its previous peak of Number 5.

Terrifying prequel A Quiet Place: Day One drops two (6), while The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring freezes in position week-on-week (7) and Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga rebounds one place (8).

This week’s highest new entry comes from Knuckles, a spin-off of the Sonic the Hedgehog film series taking place between the events of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Idris Elba reprises his voice role of the eponymous echidna, while Adam Pally returns as deputy sheriff Wade Whipple who is trained by Knuckles to become a warrior.

Finally, Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt bounce back into the Top 10 with The Fall Guy (10).
