We’ve got another exciting panel announcement for you from this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. This is one for the classic animation fans out there. New animation one MeTV Toons is coming to the convention with its first ever panel and it’s one you won’t want to miss.
MeTV Toons is dedicated exclusively to the very best of classic animation, from Hollywood-era shorts to made-for-television favorites. MeTV Toons welcomes dozens of the world’s most loved classic cartoons to this new destination, hearkening back to the glory days of cartoons on TV with familiar friends including Warner Bros. Discovery’s most famous animated characters Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Scooby Doo, Tom & Jerry, George Jetson, Top Cat, Yogi Bear, Popeye, Johnny Quest and Fred Flintstone, to name just a few. Alongside Warner Bros. properties, other beloved cartoon characters joining MeTV Toons include Rocky and Bullwinkle, Woody Woodpecker, Casper, Betty Boop, Speed Racer and many more. The panel will take place on Friday, July 26 from 1-2pm in Ballroom 6A in the main convention centre.
Bob Bergen, the celebrated animation voice actor and the official voice of MeTV Toons, will be joined by animation historian Jerry Beck, 2x Emmy-Award winning voice actor Eric Bauza, plus renowned voice actors Jeff Bergman and Candi Milo. Also participating is Weigel Broadcasting’s Vice Chairman Neal Sabin. The lively conversation, moderated by Variety’s Michael Schneider, will highlight MeTV Toons, the new favorite TV destination for animation fans everywhere.
