Last week, during the Netflix Upfront presentation in New York City, Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria confirmed the critically acclaimed 3 Body Problem series will continue with all-new episodes to take viewers through the full journey of this epic saga.
The next episodes will be created executive produced and written by the returning trio of Davi Benioff, D.B. Weiss and Alexander Woo. At the time of writing it is unclear how many episodes or seasons the series has been renewed for.
In a joint statement the trio says: “We’re thrilled that we get to tell this story through its epic conclusion. Ever since we read the last page of Cixin Liu’s magnificent trilogy, we hoped we’d be able to bring the audience to the ed of the universe with us. Here we go!”
