Sony Pictures continues to make Ghostbusters fans very happy today. After earlier revealing the huge final trailer for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the studio has now dropped a new featurette and yet more artwork for the upcoming sequel. The film, directed by Gil Keenan, comes to UK cinemas on March 22, 2024.
The latest behind-the-scenes look at the film brings together the new cast alongside the original Ghostbusters to share their excitement at returning to New York for this latest instalment. There’s plenty of new footage from the film including looks at several new ghosts the team will be facing off against when the film hits cinemas.

Sony has also dropped yet more posters for the film. This time we have an adorable Stay Puft mini-man having an accident with a shard of ice, the return of Slimer and another cool look at the main cast of the film leaping in to action.
In the film, the Spengler family returns to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.
Written by Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan and directed by Kenan, Frozen Empire stars Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, McKenna Grace, Kumail Nanjiani and Patton Oswalt. Also starring are Celeste O’Connor, Logan Kim and returning Ghostbusters stars Dan Ackroyd, Ernie Hudson and Annie Potts.
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is in cinemas from March 22, 2024.
