The first season of Netflix’s Arcane introduced the world of League of Legends to a lot of people, and actually built on its legacy with new characters, lore, and an incredibly character-driven narrative. To kick the year off, Netflix dropped a fresh new look at season two and it looks to be introducing more iconic characters from the game.
The teaser gives us a brief glimpse at the mad scientist Singed, who helped bring Shimmer to the undercity. Slumped in a chair, playing with a locket, presumably containing a picture of his lost daughter, Singed looks at his latest creation… A giant beast.
This teaser seemingly confirms that Warwick will have a significant role to play in Arcane season two. In the game, Warwick is a werewolf-like creature who was created by Singed through gruesome and horrendous experimentations. Now, there is a popular fan theory going around which may allude to the identity of this “Warwick”… But we won’t discuss that now. If it does turn out to be true, then we are in for a heartbreaking treat.
