It’s like Christmas has come early this weekend thanks for CCXP. On top of the brilliant clip from Star Trek: Discovery we’ve now also got our first look at the upcoming fourth season of The Boys.
Prime Video has confirmed the series will return in 2024 but has yet to commit to a premiere date. The trailer however sets up some heavy conflict for when the series does return to our screens.
Time is running out for Butcher (Karl Urban) after the events of season four. As he meets with a mysterious new character played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Homelander (Anthony Starr) continuing to pull the strings elsewhere. Once again it seems like poor Hughie (Jack Quaid) and Starlight (Erin Moriarty) are caught in the crossfire.

New synopsis for season 4 reads: The world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power. Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son as well as his job as The Boys’ leader. The rest of the team are fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.
The Boys is based on The New York Times best-selling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, who also serve as executive producers, and developed by executive producer and showrunner Eric Kripke. Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Phil Sgriccia, Craig Rosenberg, Ken F. Levin, Jason Netter, Paul Grellong, David Reed, Meredith Glynn, and Michaela Starr also serve as executive producers. The Boys is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television, with Kripke Enterprises, Original Film, and Point Grey Pictures.
