With the speed and ferocity of Caraxes, the first trailer for the second season of House of the Dragon has arrived, and this new season is looking to be even bigger and bloodier than the first. After the climactic and brutal finale, war is brewing between the two families and the rivalry is set to reach new heights in this second season. To celebrate its upcoming return, HBO gifted fans with the first full trailer and it promises us plenty of war, blood, fire, and a plethora of dragons.
The Targaryen line has been completely shattered with Queen Alicent (Olivia Cooke) and her children gathering strength within the confines of the Red Keep. While Rhaenyra (Emma D’Arcy) and Daemon (Matt Smith) plan for their revenge at Dragonstone. Dragons and swords will clash as the Targaryen bloodline is tested, and predictably… shortened. There will be no victors in this war.
Among those returning to Westeros are Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, Rhys Ifans, Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall and Matthew Needham.
