Netflix’s Geeked Week returns on November 6th to November 12th, so prepare for an absolute bombardment of announcements, sneak peeks, and surprises from some of Netflix’s most anticipated movies, shows, and games. Zack Snyder’s highly anticipated sci-fi epic Rebel Moon is part of the upcoming line-up which was confirmed via a short trailer. When Geeked Week arrives, there’s a chance we could see something new brand, like some posters or a fresh trailer. We may also get some news regarding Snyder’s future plans to expand the Rebel Moon franchise. Regardless, Rebel Moon is coming to Netflix’s Geeked Week.
But that’s not why were here today… Thanks to Netflix TUDUM, we finally know how long Snyder’s Rebel Moon: Part One – A Child Of Fire is, and it actually breaks a 12-year long record for the Director. A Child Of Fire will officially be Snyder’s shortest film in 12 years – 2011’s Sucker Punch clocked in at 1hr 50. This is where the Extended Editions come into play. According to producer Deborah Snyder, the Director’s Cut of Part One and Part Two- The Scargiver will be “45 minutes to an hour longer” than the normal cuts. Not only will the extended cuts be longer, they’ll also be Rated R which means they’ll include more violence and swearing. We say, bring it on.
- A Child Of Fire – 2 hours 13 minutes (December 22nd)
- The Scargiver – Runtime TBC (April 19th, 2024)

Tasked with finding trained fighters who will unite with her in making an impossible stand against the Mother World, Kora assembles a small band of warriors — outsiders, insurgents, peasants and orphans of war from different worlds who share a common need for redemption and revenge. As the shadow of an entire Realm bears down on the unlikeliest of moons, a battle over the fate of a galaxy is waged, and in the process, a new army of heroes is formed.
