It’s Wednesday and that means it’s time to check out this week’s UK Official Film Chart as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 soars to the top spot following last week’s digital release.
The third instalment of the Marvel movie franchise, starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Salanda and Will Poulter, debuts at the top following its home entertainment release; with the Avatar sequel falling two to Number 3.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 sees protagonist Peter Quill (Pratt) and his squad on a mission to defend the universe for one last time – but can the Guardians put a stop to the plans of a seemingly-unstoppable force?
Elsewhere, last week’s Number 2 Fast X is down two to Number 4, Top Gun – Maverick climbs one spot to Number 8 and The Pope’s Exorcist remains Top 10 for a third consecutive week at Number 10.
