After a huge reveal in last month’s issue #107, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is gearing up for a brand new issue which will explore the identity of the mysterious Vessel. BOOM! Studios has now dropped the cover art and preview pages for MMPR #108 which comes to comic book stores and digital platforms on May 17, 2023.
The bold and greatly anticipated Reunited, Recharged era of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers continues with the superstar creative lineup of writer Melissa Flores (Power Rangers, The Dead Lucky), artist Marco Renna (Mighty Morphin, Power Rangers), colorist Francesco Segala (House of Slaughter, The Expanse) with assistance by Gloria Martinelli, and letterer Ed Dukeshire (The Woods, Irredeemable). The new release reunites all of the beloved Rangers, recharged and ready for a bold new direction for your favorite Teenagers With Attitude, available in May 2023.
Set in the past, Rita retrieves the mysterious Vessel with one of her close allies, who is shocked to discover The Vessel’s true identity! In a chain of emotional events, The Vessel himself will have to contend with where his allegiance will lie in the end. Will he be friend or foe for the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers?

Currently, Power Rangers is celebrating 30 continuous years on the air, making it one of the longest-running kids’ live-action series in television history, with over 900 episodes aired to date. Created by Haim Saban and launched in 1993 with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the series celebrates its 30th year with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always, an anniversary special streaming exclusively on Netflix now. The 30th overall season of Power Rangers, “Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury,” premieres Fall 2023 exclusively on Netflix.
