The brand new trailer Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is here and our excitement is now officially through the roof. The action-packed trailer gives us a brilliant and in-depth look at the new worlds Kal will be able to explore, the new and familiar faces that’ll be joining us on our journey, as well as the abilities that’ll be at our disposal to use against the Empire. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be yours to own on April 28th- let the countdown begin.
We get a great look at what we can expect in this new chapter storywise. However, it’s safe to say that the trailer is definitely holding back, we guarantee there will be some surprises waiting for us. One of the biggest developments we’ve seen so far, apart from the improved combat system, is the implementation of an AI companion, which we cannot wait for. Cal won’t be alone on his quest. You’ll be able to team up with Bode and Merrin, performing killer combos and finishers together while exploring new environments and solving challenging puzzles. It’ll be interesting to see whether you can dictate who your companion is, or whether it is dependent on where you are in the narrative.
No longer a Padawan, Cal has come into his own and grown into a powerful Jedi Knight. Carrying the memories and expectations of the Jedi Order with him, his crusade against the Empire has only become more perilous. The Dark Times are closing in – with enemies new and familiar surrounding him, Cal will need to decide how far he’s willing to go to save those closest to him.
