Well, this is an odd mixture of good news and bad news. Although, we’d argue that it is mostly good news. In a world post-Cyberpunk, a majority of game delays are actually celebrated. Most gamers would much rather wait for the game to be polished off before it’s released into the world. So the bad news is that Respawn’s Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has indeed been delayed. The good news is that we already have a new date, and let’s face it, it’ll definitely be worth the wait. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has already shown much promise, 6 weeks is nothing. The upcoming sequel will now be released on April 28th, 2023.
In a statement posted on social media, director Stig Asmussen confirmed that the developing team are focusing on perfecting the final stage of the game’s release. Here’s what Stig had to say:
“We are now focused entirely on the final stage: bug fixes to enhance performance, stability, polish, and most importantly, the player experience.”
