Get ready for plenty more of Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday Addams. Netflix has confirmed that it has ordered a second season of Wednesday, the hit Addams Family series which debuted its first season back in November.
In just a short time Wednesday has become one of the most successful series ever on Netflix. It ranks #2 on the Most Popular (English) TV list with 1.237 Billion hours viewed within its first 28 days. In fact, more than 182 Million households have seen the series since its debut.
“It’s been incredible to create a show that has connected with people across the world.” said Creators/Showrunners/Executive Producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar an exclusive interview with Tudum.com. “Thrilled to continue Wednesday’s tortuous journey into season two. We can’t wait to dive head first into another season and explore the kooky spooky world of Nevermore. Just need to make sure Wednesday hasn’t emptied the pool first.”

From the creative mind of Tim Burton, Wednesday stars Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams. Co-starring are Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Percy Hynes White, Gwendoline Christie, Thora Birch, Hunter Doohan, Percy Hynes White, Joy Sunday, Emma Myers, Georgie Farmer, Naomi Ogawa and Moosa Mostafa. Members of the Addams family will guest across the series with Catherine Zeta-Jones as matriarch Morticia and Luis Guzmán as Wednesday’s father Gomez. Victor Dorobantu plays dismembered hand, Thing, Isaac Ordonez plays Wednesday’s brother Pugsley and George Burcea plays manservant Lurch.
