This week, DC Comics releases the final issue of the brilliant DC Mech series. The six-part series reimagines the heroes of the DC Universe as pilots in giant, Gundam-style fighting robots and sees them take on the forces of Apokolips in a battle for Earth.
The final issue is written by Kenny Porter and features artwork by Baldemar Rivas, colours by Mike Spicer and letters by Tom Napolitano. Rivas provides the main cover art with variant covers by Dan Mora and Ricardo Lopez Ortiz.

The synopsis for the final issue teases an apocalyptic battle for the ages as The Justice Squadron faces off against Darkseid:
