Sky has released a brand new trailer for the highly anticipated series, The Last of Us, which will air exclusively on Sky Atlantic and streaming service NOW on Monday 16 January. Boy, are we excited. Here’s the slight stinger, though. Superfans of The Last of Us will be able to enjoy each instalment every week at 2am. So, to fully enjoy the world premiere, we may have to sacrifice some sleep… And let’s face it, going to sleep after watching The Last of Us isn’t exactly going to be easy.
Based on the critically acclaimed video game developed by Naughty Dog exclusively for the PlayStation® platforms, The Last of Us will be available in all Sky markets including the UK & Ireland, Italy, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The story takes place twenty years after modern civilization has been destroyed. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey, as they both must traverse the U.S. and depend on each other for survival… Players of the game will of course know that brutality and torture that awaits us.
