The further the game dig the more of Al Ghul’s plot they begin to unravelthe clues and piece together the puzzle of Al Ghul’s plan to cleanse the world and rid it of all evil technology using super size EMP machines capable of bringing cities to it’s knees.
This is my introduction to the Batman & Scooby-Doo Mysteries series as I’ve always seen the story to be of a childish nature and that kind of put me off before I tried it, I’m glad I have given this latest series a chance as I found myself really enjoying the story as a whole, yes it still has that slight childish nature to it but being a cartoon fan from my childhood I definitely enjoyed the nostalgic feel to it. The story from Sholly Fisch was well written and has an innocent charm to it throughout, the combination of the two iconic characters works really well on the page and gives a reading experience that will appeal to all age groups.
The illustrations from Dario Brizuela highlights the fun and vibrant story that is being told on the pages, each panel is colourful and vibrant and brings out the action of the story.
Verdict
A good start to the new series building for the action packed series ahead, two iconic characters sharing a page and working well together.
