Today Netflix has dropped a brand new trailer for its upcoming adaption of Heartstopper, the young adult graphic novels by Alice Osman. The series, which stars Joe Locke and Kit Connor, launches on the streaming giant on April 22, 2022.

The series synopsis reads: When gentle Charlie and rugby-loving Nick meet at secondary school, they quickly discover that their unlikely friendship is blossoming into an unexpected romance. Charlie, Nick and their circle of friends must navigate the ever-relatable journey of self discovery and acceptance, supporting each other as they learn to find their most authentic selves.
Originally launched as a web comic on Tumblr and Tapas and amassing an extraordinary following, Oseman has since published four book volumes of the Heartstopper series.
The series stars Joe Locke, Kit Connor, Yasmin Finney, William Gao, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Cormac Hyde-Corrin, Sebastian Croft, Tobie Donovan and Rhea Norwood.
