Sony Pictures has confirmed plans for the UK release of Studio 666. The film, starring rock legends Foo Fighters, will hit cinemas across the UK and Ireland on 25th February 2022.
In Studio 666, Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Foo Fighters move into an Encino mansion steeped in grisly rock history to record their much-anticipated 10th album. Once in the house, Dave Grohl finds himself grappling with supernatural forces that threaten both the completion of the album and the lives of the band.

“Yep…we actually went and made a big, loud, bloody horror movie. Because…why the hell not?” says Grohl. “After keeping Studio 666 our dirty little secret for years, we’re so fucking excited to bring it to you guys for a full-on theatrical release. This thing was MEANT for the big screen. We hope you have as much fun watching it as we did making it.”
Directed by BJ McDonnell, Studio 666 stars Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Taylor Hawkins, Chris Shiflett, Rami Jaffee, Whitney Cummings, Leslie Grossman, Will Forte, Jenna Ortega, and Jeff Garlin. The film is based on a story by Dave Grohl with a screenplay by Jeff Behuler & Rebecca Hughes.
