We had a feeling that Leslie Grace’s Batgirl suit was revealed for a reason… after that badass first photo of our new live action Barbara Gordon she was back in action on set last night.
Fans watching the action snapped a new video of Grace (or her stunt double) in action up on a crane. She appeared to be watching a delivery truck departing the Bressi department stores which has been setup as one of the film’s Glasgow locations.
In the comics, Tony Bressi is a mid-level mod moss in Gotham. Bressi managed to continue operations after the arrival of Batman and was considered a success amongst his peers. He was approached by Killer Moth – Batgirl: Year One connection! – but shrugged off the bodyguard for his incompetence. A brutal war between Bressi and Moth and Firefly broke out. The war was brought to an end by, you guessed it, Batgirl and Black Canary after a botched kidnapping of Commissioner Gordon.

Directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, Batgirl is written by Christina Hodson (Birds of Prey, The Flash) and produced by Kristin Burr. Starring as Barbara Gordon aka Batgirl is Leslie Grace. The film co-stars J.K. Simmons, Michael Keaton and Brendan Frasier.
The film is rumoured to release later this year.
