Sony Pictures has shared a brand new poster for Tom Holland’s Uncharted movie. The video game adaptation looks to uncover how Nathan Drake became the renowned treasure hunter we all know him as. The poster stars both Tom Holland as Nathan Drake and Mark Wahlberg as Sully.
Based on one of the best-selling, most critically acclaimed video game series of all time, Uncharted introduces audiences to the young street-smart Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) and showcases his first treasure hunting adventure with wisecracking partner Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg). In an action-adventure epic that spans the globe, the two go in dangerous pursuit of “the greatest treasure never found” while also tracking clues that may lead to Nathan’s long-lost brother.
Considering previous video game adaptations, we’re certain that people will have their own reservations about this move. However, We’re fully on board. It looks to have the makings of an excellent action movie. One trailer was enough to know that it has the fun, mystery and adventure elements nailed. Check, check, and check. Let’s just hope that Holland’s Drake captures the essence of Nolan North’s version that many people have grown up with. Only time will tell.
