The Spider-Verse is well and truly alive today with the release of a brand new preview for the upcoming sequel to 2018’s Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. After confirming that something was coming, Sony Pictures dropped an extended scene and sizzle reel for the sequel, now confirmed to be titled Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse (Part One).
Yes, you read that correctly… Part One. It’s been confirmed that Part Two is simultaneously in production and will release sometime in 2023.
Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar®-winning Spider-Verse saga, an epic adventure that will transport Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man across the Multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People to face off with a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered.

The film reunites Shameik Moore as Miles Morales, Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacey and Oscar Isaac as Miguel O’Hara aka Spider-Man 2099. Rumours persist than Jake Johnson will return as one of the various Peter Parker variants and Issa Rae is rumoured to voice Jessica Drew aka Spider-Woman.
Sony Pictures will release Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse (Part One) exclusively in cinemas in October 2022.
