As Batwoman heads in to its midseason finale, the series is pulling a huge twist which nobody saw coming. After being briefly kidnapped by some sinister looking vines earlier in the season, Mary Hamilton (Nicole Kang) will be suiting up as a version of Poison Ivy!

Tonight, Kang took to social media to reveal her brand new look as the classic Batman villain, complete with man-eating plants. Whilst she retains the classic red hair and green outfit, the costume itself is a more modern and contemporary look. This is likely on purpose to separate Mary’s version of Ivy from the original, set to appear in the show very soon.

Here’s a look at Kang suited up…

Back in September it was confirmed that Bridget Regan (Agent Carter) has been cast to play Pamela Isley, the original Poison Ivy. Now it has been confirmed that she will arrive during episode 8, airing January 12, 2022.

Developed by Caroline Dries (The Vampire Diaries), Batwoman stars Javicia Leslie as Ryan Wilder/Batwoman. The series co-stars Dougray Scott, Meagan Tandy, Camrus Johnson, Nicole Kang, Christina Wolfe and Rachel Skarsten. Joining them in season three are Bridget Regan as Poison Ivy, Robin Givens as Jada Jet and Nick Creegan. Victoria Cartagena also returns to the DC Universe as Renee Montoya.

Batman season 3 airs new episodes Wednesdays at 9/8c on The CW.
